"Hi there! I adopted a cat from Froggy's Cat Rescue in January 2014. Her original name was Gini. I wanted to send you all this email for a while, but life got too busy! I would just like to send you a great big hug and thank you for playing a part in uniting me with this perfect, goofy, fluffy little fur ball. I have long suffered from an anxiety disorder and panic attacks, and I started looking for a cat when my doctor mentioned the positive effects pets can have on people with severe anxiety. This wonderful cat has truly changed my life. I also wanted to share some pictures to show how happy and healthy she is in our new home. I live in a closed off townhouse with a safe and gated courtyard with 6ft brick walls. She gets to chase lizards to her hearts content and I get to laugh and enjoy her antics without worrying about any outside dangers. She is a blessing. "In 2012 I was grieving the loss of my kitty, which I had raised from one-week-old. Knowing I wasn’t ready to adopt again, I began looking for an organization with which to volunteer some time and get a little kitty-lovin’. After working at a safe shelter for a while, I ended up answering a request on Craigslist for a foster home for a mama kitty and her 5 babies. Froggy’s Rescue gave me custody for them after checking me out. I was impressed with the director’s knowledge and concern for the kitties in my care. She was always available to quickly answer questions or concerns I had for them. After about a week, we added a tiny little orphan to my mama kitty’s brood, and I was carefully assisted in how to introduce him into the family. When the time came to find the kitties new homes, we were, of course, in love. We begrudgingly gave up four of the babies, and I was again impressed because the director allowed me to help in the adoption selections, and to even visit some of the homes when she did home checks and took the kitties to their new families. This made separating from them easier, and gave me a chance to really get to know the director’s process and viewpoint on finding homes for her rescues. She is above reproach on how she does business. My family ended up adopting two of the babies and the mama as well. I was living on a very tight budget, and was crazy-busy, but the director was very patient with me as I went through the adoption process, knowing how much we loved our babies and wanted to provide them a safe, loving home. We have had our kitty-babies for over two years now, and don’t have a single regret. They are adored and doted on. I would have, in fact, fostered again if we hadn’t adopted so many of our litter and had more room to work out the arrangements. I highly recommend Froggy’s Rescue as a place to find your new kitty! You won’t find cats that have been better loved and cared for prior to adopting." Lisa, Jacksonville FL
