About Us
Hi everyone and welcome to Froggy's Cat Rescue!
Let me tell you a little bit about us. We were incorporated in 2010 when two independent rescuers decided they could do more good by working together. These two rescuers met by chance because a wonderful little cat named Kitty Girl needed a home. I guess you can say one small cat was one large step in the right direction for animals in need. :) One thing led to another and here we are. Four years, hundreds of cats later and now a bonified 501c(3) non-profit corporation. Although we have changed and adapted over the years to better serve the kitties we try to help, some things still remain the same. We always choose quality over quantity and we believe in finding the right home for every cat. It's easy to find a home for an animal but only the right home gives him/her the chance to keep a forever family. We work very hard at screening the potential families and asking the right questions to make sure every single one of our rescued kitties finds their happiness in this lifetime. This website has been designed with the intent of providing a service to the animals in need as well as to you, the human checking us out. The store is our way of raising funds year round to pay for all the medical care we provide our foster cats while offering the humans some wonderful (and even yummy) items for you to buy and enjoy whether it's a present for someone or a treat for yourself. So take a stroll through our categories and stay for a while. We enjoy having you here. :)
Our adoption process
Since we don't have a shelter facility, our process works a little bit differently than other rescues. Once you have chosen a cat or kitten you would like to meet, you fill out and submit the adoption application. As soon as we have reviewed it, we get back to you. At that point, we schedule a time to bring your new kitty to you for a home visit. if the visit goes well, the adoption gets finalized and you have a new furry family member. It's that simple.
For any other questions you may have for us, please visit our FAQ page before emailing us as we may already have an answer for you. Thank you :)
